The international scientific conference “Research on PJM and d/Deafness 6 – Empirical and applied perspectives on sign language communication” showed us how valuable it is to include experts from outside our country in the Polish academic discussion on sign communication. May such conferences be held in Poland as often as possible! We would like to thank Prof. Karolina Ruta-Korytowska and Prof. Marta Wrześniewska-Pietrzak from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań for organizing this very important meeting in Poznań.
