  • Warsaw Old Town – a wonderful and perfectly reconstructed Old Town, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980.

Highlights: Castle Square with Sigismund Column, Royal Castle, medieval walls, market square, St. John´s Cathedral, Jesuit´s church, birthplace of Marie Curie, Monument of the Warsaw Uprising.

  • Warsaw’s Royal Tract – Krakowskie Przedmieście

The Royal Route in Warsaw begins at the Royal Castle (Castle Square) where the Old Town ends. For tourists, the most interesting part of the route is between Castle Square and Rondo de Gaulle. This route, which easily can be done by walking in around 30 minutes, includes two streets Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat, which merge at Staszic Palace.

Walking from the Royal Castle in a southern direction on Krakowskie Przedmieście, the following sights can be seen St. Anna’s Church, Adam Mickiewicz Monument, Carmelite Church, Presidential Palace, Józef Poniatowski Monument, University of Warsaw and Holy Cross Church. There are also lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, and discos.

  • Palace of Culture and Science

A city landmark with an observation terrace. The Palace of Science and Culture is 237 metres high.

  • Vistula Boulevard

One of the most popular places to relax in Warsaw, especially during the summer months. Stretching nearly 6 km along the west bank of the Vistula River, the boulevards have become a lively meeting spot for locals and visitors alike. The area was revitalized in recent years, transforming the previously underused riverfront into a vibrant space filled with cafes, boats, cycling paths, and recreational areas.

  • Warsaw University Roof Garden

One of the largest rooftop gardens in Europe, located on top of the University of Warsaw Library in Powiśle. This green oasis serves as both a research space for students and a quiet place for visitors. The garden offers stunning panoramic views of the Warsaw skyline, making it the perfect place to relax and take photographs. It is the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a moment of peace in nature.

Wilanów Palace – The King John III Palace Museum in Wilanów is a magnificent Baroque residence built for King John III Sobieski and his wife, Queen Maria Kazimiera. It is one of Warsaw’s most important monuments representing Polish heritage. The palace is surrounded by 45 hectares of beautifully designed gardens in Baroque and landscape style, with a river and extensive green areas. Visitors can explore the palace’s interiors, admire the magnificent architecture, and enjoy a stroll through the extensive gardens, making it ideal for history and nature lovers alike.
